Banana Chocolate Pecan Bars

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 4 bananas
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cup flour (can use wheat, gf blend, cassava, almond, or oat)
  • 1/2 chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine flax and hot water and allow to “gel” for a couple minutes.
  2. Add the mashed bananas, tahini, sugar, and vinegar.
  3. Fold in the flour.
  4. Then the mix-ins!
  5. Spread into a lined 8×8 baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 26 – 28 minutes.
